About Florida Registered Agent.io
Florida Registered Agent.io is the best and most affordable registered agent in Florida: $99 a year, the same at renewal.
What Florida Registered Agent.io does
Here is what the plan covers.
A clean Florida registered agent setup for $99 per year. You get the office address on file, scanned legal mail, and compliance reminders ahead of state deadlines.
- A registered agent of record in Florida, listed on your state filing.
- We accept service of process and official state mail on your company's behalf.
- Service of process and Secretary of State mail are scanned to your online account, with an email to you.
- Up to 3 other official (legal) letters a year are scanned at no extra charge, for example letters from the IRS.
- Annual report due-date reminders by email.
On physical mail and privacy: we sign for service of process and Florida government notices in your place, and our address on file shields yours from the public record. We are not a mail-forwarding service, though. Same-day scanning of legal service is included, additional documents are $15 each to scan, and you only pay postage if a physical original needs to go out.
Changing your registered agent to us
Change of registered agent to us: $0 our fee + $25 Florida filing fee = $25. The registered agent service itself is $99/year.
The alternative route needs no separate form at all. An annual report filed during the January 1 to May 1 window can designate the new agent as part of the standard filing.
- Confirm the new agent qualifies under Fla. Stat. § 605.0113: a Florida street address, an office open at least 10 a.m. to noon and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays (Fla. Stat. § 48.091), and either Florida residency (for an individual) or authorization to transact business in the state (for an entity). Your LLC cannot name itself.
- Pick the route. If this year's annual report is still unfiled and the window is open, make the change there. Otherwise, complete form INHS18.
- Gather the required entries: entity name, document number, the new agent's name, the new registered office street address, and the new agent's signature accepting the appointment.
- Mail form INHS18 and a $25 check to the Division of Corporations (the form has no online filing option). Switching to us? We handle that filing for you.
- Search your entity on Sunbiz to verify the new agent appears before you notify the old one.

Order HereRegistered agent service in Florida: $99/year. It renews automatically each year at $99 unless you turn off auto-renewal or cancel in your online account.
State fees are shown separately from our fee. We collect them with your order and pay them to the state at cost when we file.
Outside the plan
- A virtual mailbox or mail forwarding. Everyday business mail is charged per piece to view, legal letters beyond the 3 a year are charged per piece, junk mail is discarded and packages are refused.
- Filing your annual report. That is a separate service with its own fee plus the state's fee.
- State filing fees of any kind.
- Forming the company, or any amendment or reinstatement filing.
What Florida requires
Eligible agents. The statute permits three categories:
- An individual resident of Florida
- A domestic entity with an active Division of Corporations filing
- A foreign entity holding authority to transact business in Florida
The address rule. The registered office must be a Florida street address, and the agent's business address must match it exactly. A PO box does not satisfy the requirement.

Common questions
Can my Florida LLC serve as its own registered agent?
No. Florida law requires that the registered agent be a person or a separate entity — your LLC cannot designate itself.
Are there any setup fees?
No. The price is $99/year with no setup fees or hidden costs.
What happens if my entity does not have a registered agent?
The Division of Corporations may administratively dissolve your LLC or revoke your corporation's authority. Without a valid registered agent, courts may authorize alternative service of process, which means you could lose a lawsuit without proper notification.
How do I change my registered agent in Florida?
You can update your registered agent information when filing your annual report, or file a separate Designation of Registered Agent form through Sunbiz at any time during the year.
Renewals, cancellation and refunds
Ready when you are. Ordering takes about five minutes.
Order HereRegistered agent service renews automatically for another year on each renewal date, unless you turn off auto-renewal or cancel in your online account, or give written notice at least 30 days before the renewal date. Renewal reminders go out about 60 days ahead.
You can cancel at any time from your online account or by contacting support. Cancelling does not by itself remove us as registered agent on the state record; a change of registered agent or resignation filing does that.
Anything already filed with the government is not refundable. Registered agent fees are not refundable once we or our partner have been appointed with the state. State fees are not refundable once paid to the state.
